Don’t miss your opportunity to hobnob with all five judges of Colorado’s federal trial court, as well a senior judge and a few magistrates. Saturday, the Faculty of Federal Advocates holds its annual roundtable at the Grand Hyatt, inviting lawyers to meet in small groups with members of the federal bench to talk about the latest court issues. Expected to attend are Judges Wiley Daniel, Robert Blackburn, Marcia Krieger, Philip Brimmer and Christine Arguello; Senior Judge Lewis Babcock; and Magistrate Judges Michael Watanabe, Boyd Boland, Craig Shaffer, Michael Hegarty and Kathleen Tafoya. “Judges live in a kind of isolated world,” Blackburn said last year. “The feedback we get from attorneys is invaluable to us.” Twenty roundtable spots are still open.
