ABA to Cut Dues for Solo Practitioners, Non-Profit Attorneys

In response to the recession’s effects on the legal community, the American Bar Association will cut dues for solo practitioners and non-profit attorneys. Solo practitioners will get a 50 percent reduction while other attorneys will receive a 25 percent reduction in dues.
The ABA says it won’t have to make budget cuts to accommodate the reduced fees because the organization will use reserve funds.
