LAW WEEK COLORADO
Colorado Attorney General John Suthers will square off against Colorado’s most outspoken pro-marijuana lawyer Rob Corry in a debate Wednesday at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Suthers has decried the proliferation of medical marijuana dispensaries in the state, saying that Colorado voters did not call for dispensary system when they legalized medicinal pot in 2000. Corry has carved a niche for himself representing marijuana-related clients and publicly advocating for legal weed.
DU Law also has events earlier in the week, including a panel discussion with former U.S. Attorney Troy Eid and Sensible Colorado Executive Director Brian Vicente.
