Rex O’Neal Tabbed To Succeed Hazlitt As Faegre’s Top Boulder Partner

Rex O’Neal has been named executive partner of Faegre & Benson’s Boulder office, succeeding Chris Hazlitt, who jumped last week to Holme Roberts & Owen.

O’Neal is co-chair of Faegre & Benson’s emerging companies practice and new energy, clean technology and climate initiative. In his expanded role, he will advise on leadership, management and strategy, while continuing client work, the firm said.

O’Neal has experience counseling emerging clean technology, life science and software companies. O’Neal is also director of the Colorado Cleantech Industry Association and co-chair of the Cleantech Open, Rocky Mountain Region.

He received his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 1992, his M.S.W. from Florida State University in 1984, and his B.A. from Antioch College in 1980.
