Supreme Court Nominating Commission Sets, Adjusts Interview Dates

LAW WEEK COLORADO

The Colorado Supreme Court Nominating Commission set dates for meetings to interview and select nominees for appointment by the governor to the Colorado Court of Appeals. The commission also has changed the previously announced date for its meeting to review applications for the upcoming Supreme Court vacancy.

The commission will meet on Aug. 11, to review applications both for the Supreme Court seat to be vacated by Chief Justice Mary Mullarkey on Nov. 30, and for the Court of Appeals seat to be vacated by the Hon. Sean Connelly on Jan. 11.

The commission will meet on Aug. 16 and 17 to interview and select nominees for appointment by the governor to the Colorado Court of Appeals.

As previously announced, commissioners will meet on Aug. 23 and 24 to interview and select nominees for appointment by the governor to the Colorado Supreme Court.
