DENVER–Class-action law firm Edelson McGuire will open an office in downtown Denver, expected early February.
The office will be on the corner of 18th and Champa streets. Managing the office will be Steven Lezell Woodrow, chair of the firm’s banking and financial services practice group and hiring partner for the firm’s home office in Chicago. The firm also has offices in New York, Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. and Sarasota, Fla.
“The decision to start a Denver office was as much personal as strategic,” Jay Edelson, the firm’s national managing partner, said in a press release. “Steve has immediate family in Denver and has always wanted to live and work there. We are thrilled that the firm’s goals proved to be consistent with this desire.”
Woodrow plans to grow the office by about five attorneys in the next two years. He will continue his role as chair of the banking and financial services practice group. The firm’s address is 999 18th St., Suite 3000, Denver, CO 80202.
