DENVER–The North American South Asian Bar Association will host in October 2013 its national leadership retreat in Denver, home of one of its newest chapters.
“We hope that the retreat will galvanize the organization and put us on the map nationally as a place to come and do business,” said Colorado SABA past president Neeti Pawar.
Since Colorado SABA was formed in 2008 by sole practitioner Pawar, the organization has grown to 40 members. It’s the state’s newest minority bar association. The organization this year named its first transition of leadership when Siddartha Rathod, an associate at Denver civil rights law firm Killmer Lane & Newman, became its president for 2011.
