DENVER: The Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado will celebrate 30 years of improving access to justice in Colorado on September 15th at the Carriage House of the Governor’s Mansion. The Foundation raises money for Colorado Legal Services, which provides free legal assistance to low-income Coloradans who are facing serious civil legal problems.

The 30th anniversary celebration will include a reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and a brief program at 6:15 p.m. in which law firms and lawyers who have made outstanding contributions to the Foundation over the years will be recognized.

Event sponsors include the Judicial Arbiter Group, US Bank, the law firm of Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons, EON Office, the Denver Bar Association, and the Colorado Bar Association.

Hugh Gottschalk (photo attached), the Foundation’s Chairman, says, “The Legal Aid Foundation is proud to celebrate 30 years of service. The Board of Directors looks forward to publicly expressing our gratitude to the many concerned lawyers, law firms, businesspeople, and institutions in the greater community who have donated money and time over the years. This support has made it possible for the Foundation to fulfill its mission of raising funds for the provision of legal services to some of Colorado’s most vulnerable citizens.”
