SUSPECTS DOCTOR WENT TO COPS, says ABC News. A psychiatrist who treated suspected movie-theater killer James Holmes reported unspecified concerns about him to a University of Colorado police officer before the July 20 attack at the Century Aurora 16, ABC News reported Monday, citing unnamed sources. Both candidates have had experience with death-penalty cases: Brauchler, working with the prosecution in a military case; and Feldman — a former judge and prosecutor — as a defense attorney.
HEADLINING CJI’S EVENT: Three former Iowa Supreme Court justices who were ousted following a historic ruling supporting gay marriage rights will headline a gathering of Colorado jurists this fall.
