Boulder Attorney Joins Faegre’s IP Practice


Shannon Golden-Schubert has joined the intellectual property practice in the technology and licensing transactions group at Faegre Baker Daniels.

She brings more than nine years of experience in technology, life sciences and e-commerce. As counsel, she will continue her corporate transactional work with emerging companies, and increase her focus on licensing and other intellectual property transactions.

Golden-Schubert’s experience includes working on biotech, medtech and software licensing, clinical trials, Federal Trade Commission and Food and Drug Administration compliance, data privacy issues in the e-commerce and health care industries, and corporate transactions.

Most recently at Berg Hill Greenleaf & Ruscitti in Boulder, Golden-Schubert headed up the innovation and development group where she provided counsel on entity formation and corporate restructuring, financing arrangements, e-commerce business activities and FTC compliance, and licensing agreements for new products and technologies. Previously, she founded Life + Tech Law, a boutique biotech law firm in Boulder and opened the Boulder office of the Kansas City-based firm, Life Science Legal. She began her Boulder-based practice as associate corporate counsel at Replidyne Inc., a NASDAQ-traded anti-infectives drug discovery company.

Golden-Schubert graduated from the University of Houston Law Center, where she was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society and earned her Texas Mediator’s Certificate. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bryn Mawr College with honors.
