Outside GC, an outsourced general counsel company with operations in Colorado, recently announced the launch of a sister firm, Patent GC.
The launch is in response to high demand from clients for patent work, Jonathan Levitt, principal of Outside GC and a co-founder of Patent GC, said in a statement. The new firm will follow Outside GC’s low-overhead model in providing legal services and fee structure, and it will be comprised exclusively of patent lawyers with extensive in-house experience.
Senior counsel with Outside GC in Colorado include Jennifer C. Muto, Michele Garrick Nave, Kari Kelly and Gary Amato, who is also a professor at Colorado State University.
In addition to offering traditional patent prosecution services, Patent GC will provide on-demand in-house IP counsel services and due diligence support for M&A transactions and for post-transaction integration, the firm said.
